During my crazy wine Bordeaux wanderings I had the chance to test an incredible experience in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan AOC.
I propose in this post make you want to spend a Sunday morning not like the others!
For starters, I give you 11: 00 at the Château Smith top Lafite for a breathtaking tour between Underground cellars, cooperage and vines.
A little history:
This castle has been a few centuries behind him! It’s in 1365, the noble family of Bosq Verrier chooses this land for the cultivation of the vine. His name, he owes it to his redemption in the eighteenth century by the Scots George Smith.
Today, and since 1990, the area belongs to Florence and Daniel Cathiard. Fell in love with this area, they put all their heart to perpetuate the values of this exceptional terroir.
